The delivery method depends on the product purchased and the option selected during checkout.
Gift Packages: Gift packages are always shipped in physical format by mail to the address provided at the time of purchase. If the package is sent directly to the recipient, a personalized greeting card can also be sent by email to announce the gift while the original package is in transit.
Gift Cards: Gift cards can be sent by email in electronic format or by mail, depending on the option selected during purchase.
Shipping via Canada Post is offered free of charge. If you would like to receive your purchase more quickly, a Purolator delivery option will be available. Fees vary depending on the shipping address, and the exact amount will be displayed during the checkout process.

Yes. When making an online purchase, you can add a personalized message that will be sent as a greeting card, either virtually (by email) or included in the gift package if you choose delivery by mail.
Please note that the greeting card is not the gift package itself. It is simply intended to accompany your gift. The gift package or gift card issued by La Forfaiterie is the only valid document that can be used to redeem the experience with our partners.

Yes. If you choose Purolator delivery when making your online purchase, a tracking number will be provided so you can follow your package.

Gift Card: The gift card can be sent directly to the recipient by email in electronic format.

Virtual Greeting Card: If you choose to ship a package directly to the recipient, a personalized greeting card can be sent by email to announce the gift while the original package is in transit.

Gift Experiences or Gift Card: What’s the Difference?

A gift experiences provides access to a specific experience with one of our partners (for example: a massage, an overnight stay, or an activity). The experience is selected at the time of purchase.
A gift card contains a monetary value and allows the holder to choose the experience or package of their choice from our selection, either online or in-store.
How to Use Your Gift Experience or Gift Card

To enjoy your experience, simply follow these steps:
Review the information included with your package, including the partner’s details and any applicable conditions.
Then contact the partner directly to make your reservation and verify availability.
Please note that you must present your voucher to the partner in order to redeem the experience.

Holders of a La Forfaiterie gift card (for example: codes beginning with COF, CVIR, FORF, or a combination of letters and numbers) can use its value in different ways depending on the type of card.
Online : Some gift cards can be used directly on our website by accessing the “Order” section in the main menu: https://app.laforfaiterie.com/laforfaiterie/Commande/Accueil.aspx
In-store : All gift cards can be used at one of our La Forfaiterie boutiques. Our advisors will help you choose an experience and apply the value of your gift card toward your purchase.
If your gift card does not work online, we invite you to visit one of our boutiques or contact our customer service team for assistance. The redemption method may vary depending on the type of gift card and its issue date.

Yes. Gift cards from La Forfaiterie can be used toward the purchase of travel packages offered by our travel agencies. We invite you to contact one of our advisors, who will be happy to help you redeem your card according to your needs.

Some Gift Experiences require a reservation with a designated department at La Forfaiterie in order to redeem the experience.
This information and instructions are listed on the voucher itself.
To make your reservation, simply visit our website and click on the “Promo Code + Gift Card” section in the main menu:

For some packages, a minimum reservation delay may apply (for example: 7 days in advance). Specific conditions are listed on the experience description.

Yes. Most experiences offered by La Forfaiterie require a reservation made directly with the participating partner.

Yes. You must present your Gift Experience at the time of your visit with the partner.
The partner must collect and validate your Gift Experience in order to confirm the redemption of the experience.

Cancellation policies depend on the partner.
We recommend checking directly with the establishment at the time of your reservation to learn more about their cancellation policy.
Validity and Guarantee of Your Experience

Good news! The monetary value of your Gift Experience is protected for life.
The amount paid will never be lost. The service or experience included in the Gift Experience is guaranteed for a period of one year following the purchase date. After this period, the amount paid remains valid; however, if the price of the service has increased since the purchase, the partner establishment may charge the difference.
Gift Experiences purchased before June 30, 2009 are no longer valid, in accordance with the legislation applicable at that time. Certain conditions may apply depending on the product.

La Forfaiterie monetary gift cards are valid at all times and do not have an expiration date.
You can use them whenever you wish, with no time limit.
However, promotional gift cards offered as part of a promotion or giveaway may include an expiration date. If no date is indicated on the certificate, it remains valid.

Modify or Exchange Your Package

Yes. We offer a flexible exchange policy to help you find the perfect experience.
A free exchange is permitted within 30 days of purchase at a La Forfaiterie boutique for a Gift Experience of equal or greater value. No refund will be issued for a Gift Experience of lesser value. A store credit or La Forfaiterie gift card may be issued in-store for a future purchase.
After 30 days, an exchange is still possible; however, an administrative fee of $10 + taxes will apply.

Yes. A refund may be possible shortly after purchase to provide you with added flexibility.
For purchases made at a La Forfaiterie boutique, a refund may be issued to the purchaser within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, purchases become non-refundable.
For purchases made online at laforfaiterie.com, a refund is possible within 24 business hours following the purchase. After this period, purchases become non-refundable. However, an exchange may still be made in-store once the Gift Experience has been received by mail.

Please contact our customer service team so we can review your situation.
If the original Gift Experience code can be located and has not been redeemed, a new Gift Experience may be issued. An administrative fee of $10 + taxes will apply for the reissuance. If the code cannot be located or if the Gift Experience has already been used, it unfortunately cannot be replaced.

Gift cards function as a method of payment. For this reason, a lost gift card generally cannot be replaced.
However, if you believe you may be able to provide certain information related to your purchase, we still invite you to contact our customer service team. Our advisors can review the situation and determine whether assistance may be possible.

Rest assured — the monetary value of your Gift Experience is protected for life.
If the partner establishment has closed, we invite you to visit a La Forfaiterie boutique with your Gift Experience in order to exchange it for another experience of equal or greater value. If you choose a Gift Experience of greater value, the price difference will need to be paid. No refund will be issued for a Gift Experience of lesser value.
If you do not wish to make your selection immediately, a store credit or La Forfaiterie gift card may be issued for a future purchase.
